Bwahahahahaha!!! I shall continue with this story since one of the leaders of the Church's youth group told me he was reading the first chapters I gave him x3



The three of them kept running, Xion was holding Jixian's hand, so she wouldn't slip off and fall down to slow their pace, Rhyokyo was determined, while he was the fastest one who ran, he wouldn't let them fall behind often looking at Xion so she could pick up the pace. They kept running for hours, they even saw the early dawn, as they ran they stared at the wonder of the sun, it was the first time they saw the Fiery Star they call 'Sun'. But they didn't had the time to stop and stare at its wonder. They had to go to the town and find somewhere to hide, although the Prof. wouldn't dare to go alone to town, because he feared the same thing would happen, like the last time. They'd hunt him down to accuse him of killing a few missing children, whose missing children weren't dead, they were 'experimented' with and changed. So, they knew they would have a chance to live in the town with no problem at all, but destiny would take them a bit farther. As they kept running they saw the entrance to the town, so they slowed down to catch their air. Jixian completely stopped, letting her hand slip from Xion's grip, she was gasping heavily, taking deep breaths.

Jixian- Please... give me a break... -she said hardly breathing, looking for air- we've been running for hours... can't we take a break? -she asked as her body slowly collapsed and she feel into the ground with her hands on the soft ground covered with tiny rocks-.

Xion- Jixie I know you're tired... but... we can't stop now... not unless we go into the town and find somewhere we could stay -she said panting heavily-.

Rhyokyo looked back just to see their sisters fall behind, he was exhausted as well, so he stopped to think, then he turned around towards them, walking slowly as his legs could let him.

Rhyokyo- Come on girls... just a little bit farther... we can find shelter there... because if we stay here, there's no telling if that maniac can come here and kill us right here or do something to us.

Jixian knew everything that the Prof. had done with them, including Kris, the one Rhyokyo forgot not on purpose. Jixian knew the Prof. was all to blame, he made their lives miserable, thats why she thought of the idea if to run away or not, then she thought it was for the best and whatever the world held out there, it would be better than sticking with an old cruel man. Jixian stood up and Xion grabbed her hand, they both walked over to Rhyokyo when he suddenly stopped to catch his breath.

Jixian- I just hope someone is kind enough to lend us a home to stay or something... -she said with a sad voice but also in the looks of hope-.

They all smiled to each other and agreed that they'd hope for someone kind enough to offer them a place to stay. They walked into the town, everyone stared at him, boys stared at Xion, due to her red colored horns, black long dog ears, red devilish tail and her... big chest. Which made them 'drool' as she was extremely mad while she was walking. Jixian stared back at the little children that looked at her, she often smiled at them and tilted her head to side to side. All the girls stared at Rhyokyo and his male 'cuteness', his cute doll ears, cat ears and cute long cat tail. They all 'melted' but he didn't even bothered, he wasn't interested in them, he was more focused finding who or what was missing in his life. They found a little bench in the middle of the town central, finally somewhere to sit and rest those tired legs and regain energy. They went and sat down, ah they rested those aching feet and rest those pumping veins. Then in a while they saw people walk by, every now and then, they all stared at them every time they walked by. Then an young woman was passing by with her child, she looked at them and wondered what could they do there sitting, she thought they were waiting for someone, or something so she decided to go to them and ask them. As she got closer they got a bit weary but their tiredness didn't let them do much at all. The young woman noticed their tiredness so that gave her more reason to walk to them. When she got there she smiled softly.

Young woman- Oh dear you look exhausted, for who are you waiting for? -she asked with interest looking at them-.

They looked at her, she was smiling and so full of hospitality, they didn't wanted to drag her into their problems but Jixian's innocence opened her mouth.

Jixian- we're waiting for no one, we're just hoping that someone helps us -she said then being silenced by Xion's hand, Xion covered her mouth-.

Xion scratched her head while with the other she silenced Jixian and a 'sweat drop' came down from her head.

Rhyokyo- ah, what she meant was that... -he thought for a second and scratched his head- well... she's right -he said looking at her-.

She smiled softly towards Jixian and Rhyokyo.

Young woman- Ah don't worry then, I'll gladly provide you with shelter, after all, me and my daughters are a bit lonely living a bit far in the plains -she said- Ah, and you can call me Miriam -she said with a warm, gentle smile-.
