The village was booming with noise as everyone gathered around the gallows. The old wooden structure creeked with age as feet tread upon it.
" Hang her."
" Hurry before she can kill again."
" Murderer."

These were the words that the boys heard as they returned to the village. "Whats going on," Axl asked a man next to him.
" As soon as this girl moved here, the next night three villagers died," the man replied.

Fenix looked up to the gallows to see the murderer. To his dismay he realized who it was. Her purple hair flowing in the wind. Her blue eyes darted around scared and confused. He then looked over to tell Axl but he was gone. He looked up and saw Axl moving fast through the crowd toward the gallows.

The elder looked to the executioner, "do it," he said. The executioner pulled the switch that would open the floor and drop the girl. She waited for the moment she would fall and die. That moment never came . She slowly opened her eyes thinking that maybe the door got stuck. Instead of seeing the crowd she found herself in the arms of the same boy she had locked eyes with a day ago.

Fenix's jaw hit the floor. He could not beleive what he had just witnessed. Axl had only been about halfway through the crowd when the switch was pulled. Yet now he was on the otherside of the gallows with the girl. Fenix regained himself and began moving toward Axl.

Axl stood up bringing the girl with him, " do not worry my name is Axl and i wont let them get you."

She gave him a nod and whispered out," I-Im Gekkou."

He watched as the elder approached him with his followers of about 12 gaurds, " AXL! HOW DARE YOU UNDERMINE THIS VILLAGES DECISION!" he screamed," I SHALL HAVE YOU HANGED A-." He stopped dead as Axl pulled out his katana.
Axl held his katana at his side, " I dare you to try."
One of the guards stepped forward, " you cant take all of us one."

Axl pushed Gekkou behind him and readied his sword," actually i think i could but im not alone."

Fenix drew his blue-black axe and readied his at the backs of the gaurds. " you too Fenix." said the Elder.

"Im sorry elder, but there are things in this world that you dont know," said Fenix.

The Gaurds charged Axl and Fenix but were quickly pushed back. Axl gazed over his shoulder at the setting sun. He quickly charged the Elder and grabbed him by the cuff of his robes and held him. The two closest guards grabbed Axl but stopped as they looked around at how the world had became instantly darker.
