Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I am officially stuffed. OMG, I ate so much food. I've been cooking since about 8:30am and we finished around noon. I cooked mashed potatoes, green beans with caramelized onions and toasted almonds, this marshmallow, fruit salad thingy (delicious!!!), pumpkin bread, biscuits, gravy, and turkey. It was sooooo good. Oh, and my pumpkin pudding pie thing was really good too. Wish it woulda firmed up a little better, but whatev. For the first time around, it was pretty freakin good. I can still taste the nutmeg on my tongue. I made these baked apples with cinnamon and brown sugar and grandpa said they were just like his mom used to make. He got this really sweet, happy, sentimental look on his face and I was so happy that I'd made him happy. I didn't even know that my great grandma cooked those! May Kira bless Thanksgiving!
Anywhos, now I'm chillin on the couch with candles burning and wrapped up all cozy in my Happy Bunny blanket. Cozy to the extreme! And Dad's curled up on the other couch (technically, we've only got one, but it's huge and we divided it in half to give the living room more space), wrapped up in a blanket and clinging to his pillow. I love holidays. Only wish the family would have stayed longer. stare Stupid busy family. But whatev, I got to see my aunt, uncle, cousin (Kira! She's adorable!), grandma, grandpa, and dad! Must not forget to call mom today. Must not forget.
On a none Thanksgiving related note, I'm in love with the book Wicked! It's freakin' wicked! Oh, sorry for the bad pun. It's really good. I'm seriously in love with it right now. I can't seem to not take it with me all over the house. It's kinda weird. xd But in a good way.
Well, I'm gonna go back to watching t.v.
