though a poor man i may be
who sits and sleeps beneath the trees
and beg for money or food to eat
i always have a smile, a cheer, a beat
and give a donation to any charity
that serves the poor runaways or victims of poverty
like african families, children with no parents
hurricane survivors, the homeless or ill
i show them all the very best will
to save the earth i must be the example
be the change you wish to see
the greatest mind has said to me
he told us all but only a few listen
oh but to see teary eyes glisten
as they look upon a brand new hope
and see the world through a grand new scope
golden and green, lush and refreshed
beautifull and majestic, at it's very best.
