I wish I could go back to last summer. I wish I could stay there forever. But part of me wishes to forget what had happened. Part of me wishes that I never met him or any of his friends.
Summer '08. My best friend Darky tells me about MapleStory and how awesome it is. I get an account, but quit before even hitting level 12. Out of boredom, I return months later, inspired again to level up and play. I got my first 10,000 Nexon cash.(10k NX) I prettied myself up and I looked something like...this!
Pretty hawt for a level 12 magician, eh? xd
Anywho...
Some girl invited me into her friend's guild called Alchemy. The guild leader is a noob named Arch6Bishop. I met some pretty good friends in that guild; ChibaAria (who hates me for no reason and is now playing on StarsAria. Her name is Shawna, but I call her Aria.) B0Bhope (that "someone" I mentioned above...his name is David) Willow98 (She left without a warning </3 ) and a few others.
David basically funded the guild about 30mil and expected it back, but Arch is a douchebag and still owes David about 20-30mil to this day. He also owes Aria 10k NX. David and Aria got few up with his hoe-ness and David left the guild and made a new one called MaplerUnited. It was actually aplerUnited because the M was the guild emblem.
David had a crush on me, but I never knew until he gave me 5 million mesos for no reason. (Mesos are the in-game currency;like Gaia gold.) He asked me out in a boat on the way to Orbis. I said yes. A few days later, a few feet away from the Taxi in Henesys, he proposes to me. I said yes, of course.
You expected a "and we lived happily ever after," didn't you?
Well guess what? We didn't.
Close to the end of summer, David had to go to college. Don't even start it with the "he's too old for you!"
One night, he promised to be back in 2 hours.
I waited 2 hours.
I waited 2 days.
I waited 2 weeks.
I waited 2 months.
He never showed up.
The guild was dying slowly.
I felt betrayed and abandoned.
I divorced the marriage.
But I never would have if Shawn didn't come along. He fixed my heart...or did he?
You see, Shawn was more of a band aid. And band aids don't heal wounds, they just cover them up.
David returned about 3 months after the day he said to be back in 2 hours. My friend Lefemefatal told me about his store in the Free Market. I went to see him. I was kind crying throughout the whole conversation, but I never told him. I added him back to my buddy list.
Few weeks later, he was on. It took me by surprise and my heart jumped all the way down to my toes and back up when I saw the little info sign in the corner of my screen say "B0Bhope is logged on."
We talked for a while. Tears poured silently down my cheeks. They still do as I type these words. He disbanded MaplerUnited that day. I wrote something in the Guild BBS, but he never got to read it and I already forgot what it was by now.
Let's skip all the extra crap and get to the climax, shall we?
I anulled with Shawn after some thinking and being pressured into it by my own best friend. I blame her for Shawn's drama outbreak a few days later when he found out and came on telling me his uncle died and now he's gonna go kill himself. Totally ruined my day.
But I swear, Shawn and David are related! They're like brothers or something!
-cough- Anywho...
Shawn and David made me choose between them; I picked David.
But in a couple of weeks, he told me that...
"his feelings for me have changed and he only wants to be friends now."
Way to go, hoebag. You broke my heart.
Now I'm stuck with Shawn.
Sure, I love him and all but...

Now you may ask, how is this dedicated to my sister Tina? I almost forgot that part! So here it is...
It was a boring day in the Henesys market in channel 1, the most crowded channel. I teleported up to a spot where only mages with teleport, pirates with recoil and that floaty skill that I don't know the name of, and hermits with flash jump could get to.
So this guy told us to click on him, and we d/c! (disconnect from the game)
We meet back in Henesys in an empty channel.
"That meanie, he made me d/c!" Tina says
"Same here."
We became best friends that day.
We did everything together.
We traveled the Maple world playing house.
Now that Aria blames me for making her boyfriend break up with her (big fat lie, Aria, big fat lie!) and that she claims to never forgive me, I only trust one person in the whole entire universe, not counting my parents, Tina.
(Darky, I trust you too. So don't worry wink )
Tina, I love you so much. I wish you were my sister in real life! I also wish you would get on Maplestory more often. The Christmas event is here!!! biggrin

Shawn, you're just plain lazy. You never help me with quests or anything. -.-''
Aria, I did not make Luis break up with you! And someone your age should have a life and not be playing Maplestory 24/7. (she's 26... rofl )
