I woke up around 3 o'clock. I sighed & got out of bed & walked over to the window. I peered out at the sky. There was a full moon out and it was foggy. That's ironic. I opened the window to let in some fresh air when I smelled fresh blood. I looked down at the street. There was a midnight jogger stopping to check her pulse. I smirked and jumped out the window.
She was drinking water when I approached her.
"Hello there." I said. She turned and looked at me.
"Hi." She said.
"Don't you think it's dangerous to be out here alone?" I asked. She looked up and down my body.
"Well I'm not alone right now." She winked. I took a step toward her. She let out a sigh. I could hear her heart beat against her chest.
"I should be getting home."
"Why?"
"I just need to." She turned around but I blocked her path.
"Tsk tsk. It'd be more fun to stay here." I smirked.
"No thanks. I'll see you around." I grabbed her by the throat and pinned her to the tree. I bit into her neck without thinking and sucked her dry. I let go so her lifeless body would sink to the ground.
