Taran: a Delivery
Taran landed the Dragonfly carefully, painfully aware of the precarious position of n** in the infirmary. He just hoped Lizbeth was able to keep her from further injuring herself. Taran had studiously ignored the comment Creighton had made about never following some kind of order like that again, because he had been trying to land the little ship. But his mind raced now to recollect his words; "I will quit being his Dragoon" he had muttered. Good.
"Creighton, we're safe, we've landed." he said, placing a hand carefully on the dragon's shoulder. "I'm going to see to n** and Lizbeth... head on down to the cargo bay as soon as you are ready." he said. Anything that would make a Dragoon swear to forfeit his position was granted a moment's contemplation alone, in any circumstance. He just wished- hoped- that Creighton would speak with him again soon. They had many things they wanted... discussed.
Heading out of the bridge, Taran went immediately to the infirmary. "ANTIE? Please tell anyone who comes to the bay that we'll be there shortly." he said out loud, assuming the computer program would comply. ANTIE's response was a simple spoken "Yes, Sir."
Practically racing down the half-flight of steps and around the corner into the infirmary, Taran was quite shocked at the sight before him. n** had apparently stopped playing pincushion, and despite the fact that she had to be riddled with holes, she was not bleeding to death.
"What-? How is she... Is she all right?" Taran asked Lizbeth, without taking his eyes off of n**.

Rose and the Uninvited Murderer
ANTIE-D was doing an exemplary job of letting Rose rest. The house was quiet, and Rose's room was, as well.
But out of the blue, something appeared on the front lawn. ANTIE-D's alarms went off, and it took only a fraction of a second to spot the intruders. They were unrecognizable, and one seemed dead, or very nearly.
Rose sat bolt upright and hopped out of bed upon hearing the alarm. She snapped her fingers and was dressed, while also asking ANTIE to identify the intrusion.
"Two intruders. Front lawn. One fatally wounded." ANTIE's voice told Rose immediately.
Rose's eyes narrowed, but she didn't stop here to ponder anything. Either they were here to attack (odd if one was injured) or they needed help.
Rose flew out of her room, down the stairs, and through the living room. She vanished her wings (and any other non-human looking feature) and put a serene look on her face before opening her front door and heading outside.
"Why have you come here?" she asked simply. She couldn't anticipate the answer, but she was ready for variables- and she assumed that there would be plenty.
