I got straight A's. I brought home the slip signed by all my teachers today. Showed it to my dad.
I didn't even get a smile.
No big deal, right? I had D's last quarter. Almost STRAIGHT D's.
And I couldn't even get a smile. You know what I got?
"That's nice.

Seems like all he wants you to do is work...but keep up the great grades! You're doing it for yourself, so one day you'll get an awesome job! Man, if l were you, l wouldn't bother trying to make him feel proud of me anymore... blaugh You're doing the work for yourself!
