What is Courage? Courage is one thing that has been valued throughout literature, history, movies, etc. A hero is brave. Cowardice is something men strive to avoid.
But what is it? It's not only the act of placing oneself in physical danger, but although that of risking ridicule and hatred. Courage is when you stand up for what you believe in; it's also when you stand up for your friends. Courage can mean risking your life for another, and it can also mean speaking out. Courage means you will fight even when you're the last one standing...whether on the battlefield or for a cause.
Courage is something to be admired...something to strive for...
