It's about time I updated this thing, no? That would be really good...
Well, life has gone on, despite the vacation I had to endure for two weeks in the freezing weather in Utah. However, I'm back in school--the semester just ended last Thursday--and back at dancing, which pleases my heart and soul. For second semester, I am now in Drama, and I hope to excel quite far into that subject, since I really enjoy movies and acting.
If I said my fascination with Jurassic Park and Jeff Goldblum and Vince Vaughn was just a fascination, I'd be lying through my teeth. I am going through another obsession, and I have drawn Vince Vaughn and Jeff Goldblum, Vince Vaughn being my first attempt at really trying hard to draw someone. My second drawing of Jeff Goldblum, however, came out really well, though his expression looks more like, 'Excuse me? Don't f*** with me,' instead of the goofy expression the original picture had. Go check out my drawing at deviantart:
It's really nippy out here, and I think another storm is rolling in, which I really hope it does. I would really enjoy it if it did, because I enjoy the rain and gloom more than I do the sunshine. (Of course, out here, the sunshine means that it'll be high nineties, most of the time. And, during the summer, it maintains a steady level of ninety-five degrees or higher, with eighty percent humidity or, even worse, complete, desert dryness.) If it's seventy degrees during the middle of the day when I have to run the mile, I'd do much better than running in ninety-degree heat. Gah!
Well, for those of you reading this, check out my new forum, ♣Chaos Theory♣. It's open and accepting profiles, so, if you're literate, please go check it out!
It is about a group of scientists, each specialized in their own specific field, who are thrown together to knock heads in an abandoned castle in Wales, Great Britain. Their assignment? To become acquainted with each other and come up with the greatest discovery in the world, while eluding the other group of people who are seeking the same glory. Death, adventure, adrenaline rushes, and brilliant ideas are suddenly tossed into a ball of chance, where a higher Being sticks his hand in and randomnly pulls out one to decide the fate of yet another life...
Anyway, you may not be into sci-fi that much, but it's truly a kicker, at least to me. The group of scientists, ranging from Biologists to Paleontologists, Chaoticians to even a couple Documentarians, have never met each other, and they only know of each other due to columns in newspapers or articles in science magazines. Because of the scientific discovery they are supposed to make, they are being viciously tracked and traced by a similar group of scientists who want nothing more than the glory, and who are willing to kill if necessary. Being that there is so much pressure being applied to the scientists, things get to be tense. We've even got a Photographer/Documentarian who occasionally works for Greenpeace and was recruited in case the other group of people needed to be sabotaged.
Well, until later, then!
