So, I've decided that holidays are a curse for artists with deadlines. I've noticed that every holiday requires so much time for family and friends that I end up getting even less work done with extended days of celebration.
Once I manage to get back to the apartment from GV in partial snowy conditions, I am going to need to force myself to develop a few concept sketches for a children's book. Doesn't matter how much sleep I lose, it needs to be done. THEN I need to wake up early enough to get to Kinko's and print out my CD Cover & Greeting Card assignments, with enough time leftover to do a quick mounting on some black foam core. After class tomorrow, I need to finish glueing together my 3D model of a building and finish the midterm for Advanced Image Manipulation on wednesday. And hopefully, if time allows on tuesday, I will at least get started on my midterm of a logo design for my non-profit brand that is due thursday.
I was SORT of going to try getting started on this stuff thursday before class LAST week, but didn't end up getting far. So I intended to get it done this weekend, but work tired me out on friday and I actually had plans for all of saturday and sunday. And today I met with triptych to get a little more work done with them.
I am still in the triptych office but plan on leaving soon. I need to plan my time a bit better now that I have more things to plot into my weeks than I am used to.
Also: saturday and sunday were probably the best days I could ever have in terms of a holiday ^^ I'm not going to complain about the time consumption when I actually expected it to take up all of my time in the first place. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend, really ^^ the sex wasn't bad either
So that's just me saying that I suck at prioritizing biggrin And yet I am still in a good mood, despite that.
