A list of "The kid who dropped his ice cream" Moments
We've all had them, those horrifying times when, just by accident, the worst, but not too serious thing that could happen at the moment, happens, and you just want to cry. It's horrible. Absolutely horrible, and can easily ruin one's day. So! I've decided to make a list of these atrocities that are depressing in themselves, but not so much as to put on FML, no matter how sucky they are.
1. You just bought an ice cream cone/desert/good food, and you go to take a bite, and it just falls out of your hands and onto the ground right in front of you, and you just stare at it in disarray as if it were staring up and mocking you. (Trademark moment)*
2. You're wearing you're ultimate favorite pants and are hanging with friends after school (and having a nice time) and then go to sit down to rest, when you realize you just sat in gum.**
3. You're planning on saving your money for dinner, so you bring along a can of "Soup-at-Hand" for lunch. Upon lunch time, you reach into your bag for the meal and are met with cold slime; the can's lid busted in your bag. Now you're hand and the inside of the bag are all slimy and smell of soup, and your pant leg is wet from the ooze. You go clean up and find that there is still half of the soup left, so you go nuke it in a microwave, all to find out upon first sip that it's spoiled, and now you're stuck without food until dinner.*
4. You're working really hard on something (school work, chore, hobby, etc.) and feel that you need a break. Upon this realization, you look up to see a box of your favorite candy/snack and you beam with zealous joy as you leap up and reach for it...only to find that the box is empty.*
5. You're hungry and decide that a large bowl of your favorite cereal would really hit the spot. So you grab the biggest bowl you have, load it up with the last bit of happiness in the box, and then go to pour the milk on...only to have curdled, spoiled milk come sloshing/splatting out of the jug and completely ruin the whole bowl.*
6. You're in your Biology Lab class, and today the class goes outside to a nearby pond/lake/body of water to collect samples of aquatic organisms. You're given the job of collecting algae from the middle-ish part of the pond using a net and bottle on the end of a long pole. So, you put on the wet boots and wade into the muck and start collecting...until you accidentally let go of the pole in mid-cast and upon reaching for it, slip and go face-first into the water. Oh yea, it's first period in the middle of winter. **
7. You're out of class for whatever reason (lunch, before/after school, etc.), and out of boredom, you start twiddling with your fave pencil/pen/ID card, when a friend rushes up and scares the poop out of you, causing you to unintentionally fling your [insert item] into the nearby trash can. Yay for dumpster diving! [/sarcasm]**
8. You've been toiling away all afternoon on this one big writing assignment for school, and you've finally gotten the last concluding paragraph...when you accidentally click the close button and have to start all over.*
9. You studied all week/night for this test/exam...when you realize upon taking the test/exam that you studied the wrong thing.**
10. You just bought a REALLY nice piece of jewelry, and as you go to put it on, it breaks in your hands.*
