Okay, so Eli's been mopy for the last few days because apparently it's Dragon mating season and there were no smexy dragons around and she didn't like anyone in the family. So she and Nettie were talking, and right when Eli said that she didn't think anyone would want her, TWO MALE DRAGONS just came out of nowhere flying over our neighborhood. Lookin' for girls.
One was really really pretty, a dark purple color with white markings on his flanks and wings, with white horns.
The other was black with bright blue coloring on the tips of his spines and horns.
So Eli starts blushing and goes up on the roof and calls out to 'em, and the dragons come over and the boys look at Eli and Eli looks back, and then they start doing some complicated in-air dragony stuff. And both the boys were watching Eli, and Ada and I (being the nosy beasts we are) were watching out the window. Well apparently, Purple caught Ada's scent. Ada is a dragon girl.
So Purple loses interest in Eli and spins around and starts flyin' towards the house, staring right at Ada. And out of nowhere, Elianth divebombs Purple! Comes down on him from above and clamps her jaws down on his throat and knocks him to the ground. Then she proceeds to rip his shoulder open.
Blue, having watched all this, decides he really really likes Eli and Eli decides she really really likes him. And I'm reminded of what Morin said in response to this when Ne-chan asked what was happening:
Ever seen two dragons get it on on the roof of someone's house in the moonlight?
Afterwards, Eli and Blue walk in in their human forms, holding hands. And Blue introduces himself as Insroth, of Falling Water Keep. And Elianth blushed like mad.

They're planning on Elianth laying a clutch. And we will have at the very least three baby dragons. ^w^ One is promised to me, and one is promised to Ne-chan. Of course, Elianth herself said this, so I'm taking no liberties XD
Insroth has agreed to stay on with the family even after Eli lays her clutch. heart
