Just as I was laying down to my nap with Loki and Nyx, Morin (he was laying on the ground next to the bed) gets up and trots to the window. He suddenly bleats in terror and jumps back as fast as he can, and this giant eel-looking thing has its jaws open wide, trying to eat Morin.
So of course, I, being slightly grumpy and still tired, lock the eel's jaws open and he falls on his side, and I chain him to the dresser. And I start talking with him, because it's obvious that he's just hungry (he said Morin looked good. Go figure, Spy.), and Eli went and caught something for him to eat and he ate it. I don't know what it was and frankly I don't want to know. -___-
Anyway. He says his name, shortened and adjusted to my dialect, is Norus. He claims to be the Keeper of Atlantis. He says that Atlantis (apparently another realm) was destroyed, and he was charged with the knowledge of his people. He set out to find the Great Clan, hoping for some shelter for a little while, he says.
He also seemed surprised that we didn't know we were known throughout the realms. He says we're famous for having warriors of unimaginable strength, as well as members of unheard of kindness.
What I'm wonderin', is... how are these people hearing about us?
