I was just sitting at the window
When I saw you smiling at me
I turned around and didn't see you
I remembered all the times you'd smile at me
During those days

Is this nothing but a ghost reflection
That shows the love before that day
I started to cry at the memories that we shared
The night we danced in the rain
That night you opened a velvet box and got on one knee

I cried as you swung me around while repeating a three lettered word
You said it was the happiest day of your life.
But that was just a ghost reflection of the past

I still carry the scars of that night you gave your life away to save mine
I cried for days on end after the service.
I missed you so much.
But now your nothing but a ghost reflection
