The cutest little girl no more then 4 years old stood at the top of the stairwell going down into the basement. She looked terrified down the steps as she whispered "mommy doesn't want me down there...I don't want to go..." as if someone in the farthest part of the creepy area could hear her. "Please don't make me..." Her large amethyst eyes wondering from wall to wall nervously as she squeezed her koala bear tighter and raised the inner part of her eyebrows as she wanted to run away. "Adara? I want a Root Beer, your mom said it was down here in the spare fridge but I can't find the fridge in all this junk that's piled up. Get down here and help me." The darling girl's lower lip started to quiver when the chin started to shake after the tear. She didn't want to go down there. It was scary, especially with the man behind the furnace. Her little knees were knocking as her chubby hand grabbed the railing. "Sammy...?" she called down to her baby sitter "I can't go down there...." Her voice a little louder, finding a shred of courage. What she wouldn't give for an older brother right now.

"GET DOWN HERE NOW OR I'LL THROW YOU DOWN THE STAIRS AND LOCK YOU DOWN HERE TILL YOUR PARENTS GET HOME! I NEED HELP YOUR FAMILY ARE SLOBS!!!" With a yelp Adara raced down the stairs only to trip on the last three steps and fall smack on her belly and side of her cute little face. Thank the gods that Aussie, her koala, was under her head otherwise her face would have been broken, not just her nose. Thank you build a bear. "Owie..." "You okay?" The babysitter called "Yeah, fine" wanting to call her a jerk for bringing her down here in the first place, but she had bigger worries right now. She got up and looked around, boxes were stacked up in strategic places hiding her fears behind them, save one. The furnace. She could see a hand behind it and shuddered squinting her eyes shut and ran straight for the refrigerator. "Its over here Sammy..." She pulled open the bottom door and pulled out a Barqs Root Beer turning "Where are you Sammy?" Just then she heard foot steps over head "Dar Dar, where are you sweety?" Looking up terrified the can fell and exploded into a huge dark mess followed by a huge yellow puddle. "No...." Her eyes welled up as she looked down to see a woman standing infront of her. "Welcome back dear...little....Adara....." hissing out the last three words the woman raced forward making the child scream.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sitting up screaming at the top of her lungs Adara panted frantically holding a red massive stone that hung around her neck followed by another yelp as the maid was beating on the door. "Miss Agate? Miss Agate, You okay in there Miss Agate?" In a very thick Mexican accent. "Yeah I am, thanks Sophia...just another nightmare." "Well...." obviously not happy. Sophia was the longest staying maid for Adara and probably the best for her. She was kind and almost motherly like, but Adara could hear the unhappiness in that one word. She hated that Adara had so many nightmares, being superstitious and Hispanic, she knew something was wrong with Adara, she just couldn't figure out what it was."Breakfast is ready...Come down soon dear." "Yes ma'am..." Adara got up and rubbed her face. "Another day another dollar?" Looking at herself in the mirror the 14 year old couldn't believe how developed she was, fully but still no period. Poking her breast "Psychotic how big you guys got...." and got ready for school....
