Powers: Fire Magic, Dark Magic, Duplication and Blade Enchantment
Personality: Is the silent, strong type. Doesn't show much emotion and is mostly a loner, yet is not unfriendly. She has a rare smile, which she only flashes at certain times. Sometimes a little overprotective of the princess.

Weapon: An obsidian long sword made out of unbreakable demonic metal.

Bio: Clarisse is part of a long line of personal bodyguards for the royal Arachne family, but she didn't know that at first. She started training as a Demon Knight at the age of fourteen mainly to travel the realm and fight others to test her swordsmanship, probably taking a mercenary job or two as she goes along.

But later, when she found out that she had to act as a nanny for some whiny, self-absorbed noble brat(this is what she thought of the princess at first), she had no choice but to comply with the rules; but deep down inside, she hated the royal family for bounding her to her chained fate.

When she was strolling in the palace gardens one day, she spotted a beautiful girl, plucking flowers from the nearby bushes. It was her first day in the castle, and Clarisse didn't really know anyone. She approached the girl and scolded her for plucking the flowers off the chief's garden. The girl immediately blushed and apologized, and when Clarisse asked for her name, she grew pale white. It was the princess; she was scolding the princess!

She immediately apologized to the girl, and the girl pardoned her for her mistake. After an awkward silence, Clarisse introduced herself formally as her bodyguard. Even though the princess seemed like a good person at the start for her, Clarisse wasn't the kind to base her judgment of someone on first encounters, and she was distant and cold towards the princess, still angry at her for trapping her in this "nanny" job. This continued on for a few months, but in the end, they ended up making up and becoming best friends.

When the princess fled to the human world, Clarisse came along with her, protecting her from the assassins that were hired to kill her by her evil father. When they arrived at the village, Clarisse took a job as a local guard to earn money for food.
