And yes, I have many of these. So there's this guy- and many, many, you heard it here, MANY stories end badly from that sentence- and NO there is no gut-spilling hopeless-romantic omg-I-like-him-will-he-take-a-goddamn-hint?!? in this journal entry. Those who know me know the "so there's this guy..." stories go onto "...and I like him" sometimes take a twist with "a lot" or stay the normal course to "well, kinda..." but this one is a "well... he's kinda cool but not in the general sense" and YES I know you're reading this!!! So blaugh
Anyway, coming out of Guidance, I was talking with said guy-friend, sister-friend and won't-shut-up-to-save-her-fracking-life-friend about a geek convention coming up but said guy-friend had to attend to guy-friend business as guy-friends are wont to do.
And won't-shut-up-friend said
"Hey, do we want to get going cause this, that and the other thing...."
So you see, Guy-friend used to be Crushing-On-Guy-Friend back in Elementary School aka Sailor Mini Hell when guys were more of a fracking enigma and love was like playing Four Square: everyone made up their own damn rules. In telling Sister-Friend, she refused to let up on this subject and after a sing-song-voice'ing on my part about her booOOOOoyyyfriiiIIIIIIIend, well, Karma was in order.
And so, Sister-friend asked:
"Aren't we waiting for Guy-Friend- I mean GuuuUUUUuuyYYY FriiiIIend?!" which would denote the Still-Crushing-Upon of said Guy-Friend
Erroneous, I say!
However, to my embarrassment, Guy-Friend was RiGHT BEHiND HER going "Huh?" like a WHAT THE FLiPPiN' FRACK?! but much, much quieter.
So I more/less ran, laughing, and more/less desperate to get out of said sitch. Said sitch is how awkard turtle eggs are hatched and that is no fun.
So, Guy-Friend (cause you know damn well who you are) this is to clear that up and because it isn't bad enough for FML.com.
and PS: My Aquarium fish, Sushi died... crying
