*~Chapter 2~*

While walking to her Math class she bumped into Lisa again.

"Hey Alice!" said Lisa.
"Hey" responded Alice
"I saw you."
"Saw me what?"
"I saw you checking out Michael," answered Lisa "Everyone, including me, could tell that you had a crush on him at the moment he said his name to the class. You started at him for more than thirty seconds!"
"Me? Have a crush on Michael? No way! He's not my type, I like sporty, funny, easy going guys."
"THAT'S SO HIM!"
"I don't believe you. How could he be all those things? Besides even if he is my type, I know he would like me. He's so hot and I'm so... not."
"Don't give up Alice! You don't know that! And you are really pretty! Don't be so down on yourself."

Alice didn't speak until they arrived in Math class. She sat in the back, trying to hide the fact she was blushing so much by thinking of Michael. But she felt better when she realized he wouldn't be in this class, because it's Advanced Math (college level).

"Sorry I'm late, Mr. Larrington."
"That's all right, go and sit down please."

Alice looked up and there he was again!
Advanced Math, are you serious! Alice thought. When he was walking toward his seat, one of his friends asked him if he wanted to sit with him. But he didn't. He started walking toward me, and he sat right next to me!

"Hi Alice," said Michael "I didn't know you were in Advanced Math."
"Ye-Yeah," I studdered. "math is my favorite subject." I said. Are you serious, what was I thinking! 'math is my favorite subject' who am I joking! I thought to myself.
"It's my favorite subject too." He smiled at me with his gorgeous smile.

I stared at him for a bit, then I looked away.
How could he be in the same class as me? And why did he want to sit next to me than with his friends on the first day of school? I asked myself.
