There was a young artist named rRayn who lived in a village, up in the mountains, with is wife Rosel. They both shared a passion for the new things life brought before them. He loved to sketch animals and she enjoyed gazing at the stars her favorite star was the morning star. She could stare at its beauty for what seemed to be forever.
One day rRyan stated that he would like to journey the world and draw every new organism he laid eyes on. His wife could see the life in his eyes as he spoke of his dreams and secretly made miraculous blue/black clothes out of the finest fur and wool on the mountain. She presented it to him on their anniversary. Two months later he began his journey, promising to return home with creatures for her to see by the end of summer of the following year.
A year and a half had passed and the young artist had finally returned his village, but was surprised to find nothing but burned abandoned buildings and ash. He ran to his home only to find everything almost completely destroyed. He ran back to the village and searched desperately until he found an old man tending to what seemed to be an old field. The man informed rRyan that during the previous summer there was a terrible drought and a dangerous wildfire had erupted. rRyan pionted in the direction of his home and asked what happened to the woman who lived there. The old man seemed a bit astonished at his question
"unfortunately she was unable to escape, the poor soul never had a chance...her and her daughter(baby)" he replied softly.
rRyan was devastated by the news and walked home screaming to himself that it was all a lie, when he finally arrived at his home he sat at the entrance and waited, night passed and the sun had begun to rise. rRyan had not slept, for he was waiting for Rosel but by now he had to admit that it was indeed the truth. He looked up at the sun and its miraculous golden color. At that moment he remembered how much she loved that mysterious star and could recall all the years they shared together. rRyan then took a jar of gold pait he had obtained from his journey and painted parts of his clothes gold in remembrance of his family.Tears ran down his cheeks as he painted and he repeatedly mumbled a gentle "im sorry"
Later that week his body was found at the bottom of one of the mountain cliffs. It is said that his spirit still remains at the entrance, waiting for his wife and beloved daughter...
