Just this week, one of the most influential democratic icons in the Philippines passed away. And, yes, most of the time, I don't give s**t about politics and rubbish like that, but this one, meh...this one issue hit me hard.

And why would a normal teenager like me give a damn about this?

Well, for one thing, I wrote about her one time in our school paper(it was sort of a mercenary job...the highschool paper was getting late on their deadline so I pitched in...hahaha.), and for the first time in my little fifth grader's mind, I wanted to go to the malacanang(for those who don't know, it's a big, BIG house here in the Philippines where a little monkey named Gloria is kept, eating her bananas everyday while her 9 million zookeepers are starving. lol.), and shout "THIS IS THE KIND OF GOVERNMENT I'M FORCED TO FOLLOW!????!!! SCREW YOU GUYS!!!" and there started my bitter, loud and long argument with my mind on what our country should look like now. Yeah, I know, I have a lot more things I should worry about, like grades, annoying people around me and the like, but that writing job really pissed me off that day...

So, today was one of those days--again. As you all know, Mom and Dad went to Singapore a few weeks ago, and today, we were watching a program on discovery channel that featured Singapore's railway system...and I was like, "Oh...sh!t..." I mean, this country was one of those that long ago looked hopeless, and now, they're one of the safest ones to live in. No, I'm not anti-Filipino, I'm just one of those Filipinos that don't have any idea how a country as great, warm and lively as ours could be in so much trouble.

And Imelda Marcos' tearful reply to the death of President Cory(if you people don't know about Imelda Marcos type 'newsweek's 11 greediest people in the world' on google. Need I say more?) was just...argh...irritably indescribable. I mean, come on, your husband 'allegedly'(though I don't doubt it.) killed hers. And you're still here, acting like an angel on formal dehyde, crying because your precious jewels were taken away by some 'law'(who needs laws when you're a Marcos? You could just blow someone up, make a scene about it, and then declare martial law on your own country to get your way...w00t.) and now your two children are trying to make up with them, while you're in some festival in Cebu, grieving publicly about how much you cared for President Cory. Yet another w00t.

I'll end this post with two three apologies; 1. For making this cheesy rant with nothing to do about the bitchy and annoying people around me; and 2. For writing up something that is so messy even I can't understand it that much and 3. For almost forgetting to say good night to everyone. Night guys.
