Wednesday, August 26th

Today was orientation.

Started out pretty borrring at home. Then dad came home. :'D Got there way early. Vivian was there, so hung out with her until more people came. xD Alex came reallly late to it. I had cool peeps as my big bro and sis of the day. :'D They're in the senior class and just show us around and stuff. They were silly. xD Wasian girl. She was the LOLs. Her face looked really Asian, but like...she was tan and had brown hair. xD So I was confused until she told us she was Wasian.

We just chatted for a while. One teacher dude told us about note taking strategies and stuff. :'B Yeah~! And then went to the math teacher, who told us about a weird site that math teachers use instead of Edline for uploading project/homework/homework answers/etc. Then, our IB admin lady was talking about stuff, like how we can go to her anytime. Or we can go to the IB Suite to steal chocolate. xDD They have tissues and chocolate, both of which are very important things when you're feeling epicly emo. :'D ESPECIALLY CHOCOLATE. You know what...let's be emo more often. xD

After that...we sat in a hallway and talked until pizza. We tried to play Geography, where last letter of geographical place is first letter of next person's and stuff. Didn't go too well, cause some dude thought Arkansas started with W, and lotsa fail. xD We did some introductions for everyone, name, school, and fav. band/fav. anything cause so many people didn't have any favourite bands...fail! xD So when it got to me, I said everything, and then said my favourite band was Skillet. And some random girl was like...aren't they CHRISTIAN? And we all started laughing cause of the way she said it. Lol, we're such random butt kids, even the seniors, and the one sophomore that loved the Beatles and had a nametag that said John Lennon. xD

I met Vivian's older bro, a sophomore. He's random. xD We were talking about eye size over pizza. No one was talking so I was like...okay...who does or doesn't like TWILIGHT? Voila, best way to start a convo when the table is mostly girls.

After pizza, wanted to play capture the flag. Or football, but they couldn't find any footballs, or enough kids to join us. xD Awww. Well, then we tried to play Mafia. That didn't work out, since it was timeconsuming and boring. Then split into dudes and chicks, basically. Girls playing sticky note. :'D And dudes were like..."racing". Never happened, really. xD Sticky note = sticky note on person's back with name of famous person or character. A few people came by and ruined the game. xD Fail! But oh well~! It was okay. Esther [big sis senior Wasian] thought Palin ran for president, so she failed after that. xD It was much fun. Esther was like...doesn't [me] look like -so and so, probably an Asian- xD People used to say I looked like Celeste. Really, I don't. Oh wait, all Asians look the same. NEVERMIND.

Sticky note was much fun. xD I was stuck between Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe. (Cedric/Edward or Potter? xD Hmm.) Guessed right after a while. Esther was REALLY determined, so she was guessing for ages for Palin.

There was one girl named JERUSALEM. :'D Epic name win. It's like naming your kid Asia! But better. Pfft, hopefully no one is named Turkey.

After that, parents came out from the semi-short meeting, got the folder with my name on it (three Chens in the program. ;D Jesus, myself, and Steven...or Daniel, I don't remember. There's also this girl...Joy...I think I met her at my dad's cousin's house. We were playing Zelda or something on her Gamecube. xD)

Alex's little bros got SO MUCH FOOD. It was those bite-size brownie things, and weird mini-cake things. And wow, yeah, uber Asian kids. xD They're so skinny even though they eat so much~! My parents + his parents talked for a while. I went to talk to him and his girl-friend. Not girlfriend, but girl-friend.

And yeah, then we headed out and back home. :'D

It seems we'll be having luncheons with our big bros and big sisters like once a week for the first few weeks or something. O_o; And Esther will be bringing the food; gives us some reason to go. xDD IB kids = mostly Asian = baited easily by free food.

Mission Find Matthew Thomas = failed. Alex was trying to see if one kid was him (description : short Indian kid, that's it. xD) by calling out Matthew! near that kid. Failed, so yeah...probably not. -gets yearbook- D:< MUST FIGURE OUT WHO THIS BOY IS! Maybe he's a mythical creature that actually doesn't exist, or only comes out once a month. Okay...his yearbook pic = fail, just like the rest of ours. No one still looks like that. ._.; Actually, I don't think I even looked like that when I took the pic. xDD What did they do to my face?? Oh, good old middle school days of horribly ugliness.

Anyways, today was quite exciting. Going to head off to bed soon. Cause why? Getting up at 5:50am tomorrow. Leaving like 6:30 or something. Used to get up at 6:40 to leave at 7:25, okay? xD Gotta put on clothes, fixhair/brushteath/washface/etc.etc., eat breakfast, fix hair again since running around the house messes it up, and then leave. That takes time people! xD

So yeah, off I go.
