College life is interesting. I still believe that it's not that different from high school. But there's not as much paperwork and more reading, which I actually like. I was able to finish most of my English paper that's due next week, which is good.
Yesterday Nikkie invited me to an end of the summer party at her grandmother's house. It was fun. Nikkie and I ate, then we swam a bit. The food was really good. I think she was more distracted by the fact that her dad was there. She was caught between hanging out with me and hanging out with her father. She wanted me to spend the night at her house after the party, but I felt really tired and I wasn't up to spending the night at someone's house, so I told her that my parents said no, even though my mom said yes. When I got home, I told my mom how I felt, and she said it was okay if I wasn't feeling well.
Well, I'd better go now. I have some more reading to do out of one of my English books. See ya!
