This is a short AkuRoku poem I wrote today.
No, this is NOT the story I said I was working on - that is posted somewhere else... But please tell me what you think.
I burn the letters you wrote me
saying you loved me
I burn the clothes you left behind
that still hold your scent
I burn the pictures we took
The ones you cherished
These things mean nothing to me now
How could you leave me like this?
How could you die on me?
You left me to burn
I burn the skin
You touched
You caressed
Last thing I burn is the last thing I have
I burn the memories of us
the ones you claimed to love so much
I'm dying here for you
You better still love me too
dont give up
I'll stil be there waiting, in the next life
