I was reasently in a scchool assembly where we had to stand for the well the American National Anthem and I noticed that at least one fourth of the students didn't even stand. I have a lot of issues with America and its hipocrocy. I don't say the Pledge of Allegiance nor do I sing the Anthem but I do stand for both and sometimes I will even cover my heart. I have no religuos beliefs keeping me from doing this I just don't like most of what the government does, but I do know that people are out there fighting for my safety. They risk their lives to keep us safe, and these stupid highschool kids think that they don't deserve respect. Some of the students even talked about how dumb the ritual is. This got under my skin, my step-dad and grandfather are vetrans. I have like 4 cousins and a few uncles in this war and these people are disrespecting that. Even a few of the people I know and hang out with acted like this....
IDK maybe I'm just over reacting but that seems wrong to me...
