For the first time in a really long time, I don't hurt from Catherine. For the first time in a really long time, I'm not regretting every second since she left me. For the first time since then, there doesn't feel like there's a gaping hole in my chest, dripping blood and pulsing with infection.
And for this one, single, perfect moment of clarity, I'm at peace. Because I finally realized I hate her, and I finally got the balls to actually say it.
