The book of Gnokii
I now read to you a chapter from "The Book of Gnokii"
http://www.911tabs.com/link/?3700364

This book is of Gnokii, and may only be read if you will it to be readable. This book may never be destroyed, because the author willed it to be so. These words are only true if you will them to be. Facts may be added to this book, but never removed. The text in the book of Gnokii appears in the language the reader most easily comprehends.

Lies are born of truth. And so all lies are fundamentally true.

It has been described and well documented throughout the course of human history. Will, Chi, Chakras, Prana, Souls, Mana, Spirit, Krag, Kenryoku, Gnokii.

Vampires, Magic, Djinns, Monsters, Telekinesis, Invisibility, Werelings, Shape shifters, Merfolk, Telepaths, Demons, Angels, Immortality, Mind reading. All are really only one thing. Will.

Through "Will" various forms of manipulation are possible, depending on one's "Will".

Some "Will" is born through fear, such as Immortality.

I shall now recount the tale of a Mr. Dorian Gray:

Mr. Gray was befriended by a painter who became obsessed with Mr. Gray's youthful beauty. Mr. Gray also became infatuated with himself after a time. By the by Mr. Gray realized that his youth and beauty would one day fade and he would no longer be loved or appraised, and this appalled Mr. Gray. He felt it would be best to "Sell his soul" to keep from aging. After trading away his "Soul" he remained young and vibrant, denying age's caress and death's loving kiss, instead the painting which began his infatuation with himself aged for him, and every sinful deed Mr. Gray preformed was reflected in the painting. After an accidental death of a colleague Mr. Gray decides to change his ways and begins life anew after a time he decides to check on his painting expecting some of the horrific things depicted in the painting to have lessened or dissipated completely; however, he finds that his painting has only gotten worse. Mr Gray then decides that only a full confession would absolve him. Lacking any feelings of grief or remorse made that task slightly more than difficult, and in a rage he took a knife and plunged it into the painting, after which all the years of aging that he had escaped and all the sins he had committed were paid unto him in full. Mr. Gray was found dead, with a knife plunged into his heart, and aged into a sick rotting thing to which was only identified as Mr. Gray because of the rings on his fingers. His painting of himself was found next to him restored to its original luster.

He "Willed" his humanity, and life to be transferred into that painting of himself because of the fear of losing his youthful beauty.

Some "Will" is created through outside circumstances.

Felicia Parise, an American medical laboratory technician who was able to repeatedly demonstrate telekinetic movement of small objects beginning in the 1970s. The first reported instance occurred spontaneously, then with practice by intense conscious intention she was able to duplicate the feat. Some of the items Parise reportedly caused movement in were a plastic pill container, compass needle, and pieces of aluminum foil (the latter two under a bell jar filmed by a magician). During the height of her fame in the early 1970s , the National Enquirer tabloid newspaper in the United States, featured her in a large photo on its cover seated at a table attempting to perform telekinesis with the headline: "First American to Move Objects with the Mind." Parise eventually retired from performing telekinesis due to the physical stress on her body. Ms. Parise, was born poor, and with an ailing mother, she had revealed that as a child,(like most children) she had "Prayed" often that she could be granted the power to change things.

Will is often seen manifested in these ways: selling one's soul, prayers, wishes, magic, and in some strange(though not singular) cases, Will is attributed to alien abduction, radio activity, and similar things.

Will cannot be truly measured, because Will is infinite, and is only limited by it's possessor.

The amount of Will a person possesses is determined by the users desire to manifest. Often we see people that manifest in ways that match up to what they call their "Inner spirits" or "spirit guides".

Some Native American tribes mastered this form of Will, along with many other peoples who, in the younger days of humanity, were closer to nature.

We see this in most Native American "Myths" in the form of a "Trickster". Tricksters are mischievous spirits that stand for chaos and uncertainty. Though understood to be "Spirits" Tricksters are normally nothing more than a person who has gained some form of control over his Will, and enjoys causing mischief or in more serious cases serious crimes such as murder or rape. There are however, good spirits that contrast these Tricksters, and are usually nothing more than normal people who have gained control over their Will.

One of the most common transformations is that of a wolf, humans feel linked to this animal for reason that vary from case to case, the way in which they become their "Spirit guide" also differs as seen in the separate cases of Shapeshifters who might take their "Spirit form" at will, and those who choose to follow the more famous instance of transformation, and might only transform when some prerequisite is met, such as a full moon.

Understand that no instance of manipulation is exactly alike.

Another form of transformation exists when a person maintains their human form and only take on attributes of their "Spirit guides". As seen in the most famous case of transformation: Vampires.

The original Vampire was a collection of myths and his "Spirit guide" He took on the abilities of the vampire bat, and also took on it's thirst for blood. Due to confusion and myths of the time people had already made up the vampire myth, and he willed himself to become what he though was a vampire. He gained speed, immortality, and strength, but also an intolerance for sunlight and holy things. From then the vampire was no longer just a myth created by peoples fear, and the legend bloomed from that one town to the world over. The one original vampire infected others through his Will. Will is transferred through many things and one of the most common mediums is blood, when blood is exchanged, and one person's Will is stronger than the other's the losing Will is capable of being manipulated, bent, or even broken. There have been instances where a person who has been bitten or has transferred blood with a vampire has not undergone the change and has not died, but stayed human. Though these cases are not nearly as fantastic or as famous as people turning from being bitten or exchange of blood, they do exist. Other vampire myths, such as vampire's ability to morph into wolves or mist, is only another manipulation of an individual's Will.

Humans might also take on other forms of this transformation, such as a person who takes characteristics from a tiger. If one took this form of manipulation of Will that person might experience an enhanced sense of balance, strength, eyesight, hearing, and an unusual craving for raw meat. That person might also display physical traits such as: Nails sharpening and elongating into claws or talons, a fully formed or partial tail, Shrinking of their human ears and an emergence of feline like ears, elongated and sharpened teeth. This image has been popularized by the common name "Neko", though these types of transformations are not limited to felines.

Only one form of "Spirit guide" manifestation is available at one time to any given person. When two people try to manifest the same way, their Wills confront each other in a test of strength, and the victor wins the ability to manifest.

If one person has the manifestation of a lion,(partial or complete) and another tries to externalize their Will in the form of a lion, their Wills battle for the right to manifest, and in the end, only one will be able to. The other is left human as if nothing ever happened.

Will has also taken the form of elements. Though not a well know use of manipulation, it is a very powerful form that enables a person to directly control or reform an element, such as fire, air, or even light. Unless a person's will is unusually strong, direct control is difficult to achieve or maintain, and only a handful of people today can use their element fluently.

It has been shown that in rare cases it is also possible to manifest the element in themselves, actually becoming the element. In one case in the early 1800's a woman was having an affair with her husband. When the husband found out he decided to provide an opportunity for her wife to have another "Meeting" with this other man. She took advantage of this, and invited the other man over while her husband was supposed to be out of town on business. The husband watched as his beloved wife betrayed him and a rage over took him. He took his knife and burst through the door catching the two in their shameful act, and rushed over to stab the other man. When the knife was only centimeters away from his skin his element manifested and the knife along with part of the husband's hand splashed into a chest that was no longer that of a man, but now nothing more than clear water holding the form of a chest. The other man screamed and became completely liquid, he soaked through the floor and was never seen again by the husband or wife. The husband forgave the wife, assuming that it was some sort of devil that had seduced his wife, and never spoke of the instance again, it was the wife who, on her deathbed, told her son that he might have been the son of a devil.

Instances like this are rare, and are either achieved through accident or through sharpening of direct control user's Will.

Only one element may belong to one person at a time, almost exactly like the cases concerning "Spirit guides".

Will is also manifested in the form of physical energy, and is usually channeled through some sort of medium such as a weapon.

In the 4th century A.D. in a waring Japan there lived Prince Yamato Takeru, who in his bravery, strength, and cunning was the model for the later coming samurai. He is the very first documented case of manifesting Will through a weapon using physical energy. Scrolls depict Yamato Takeru wielding a sword that had a visible aura able to cut through stone and men as though they were nothing but smoke, this sword known as Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi was most famous for it's ability to move the wind in the direction of Yamato's swing.

The most well know and acknowledged case of Will being manifested through a weapon is that of the magic sword Excalibur. In the legend of King Arthur, he is said to have single handedly killed 960 men, the sword was able to return to it's owners hand if beckoned, and blinded the men he faced as it appeared to be as bright as 30 torches. It's greatest attribute was the ability to use the physical energy of the wielder's Will to project a blade of thin energy to a distance depending on the amount of Will dedicated to projecting. Arthur used this to his advantage in The Battle of Mons Badonicus, or Mount Badon, where he is said to have killed 960 men. Ironically it's most dominant feature was edited out of history by the Vatican because they didn't want this holy sword depicted as being able to kill men as only God should be able to.

And so Will is clasified in these categories:

Parasitic: Where the manipulation of Will alters your state of mind or body, such as the case of Dorian Gray.

Physical: Where the manipulation of Will causes some change within your body, such as the Telekinetic abilities Ms. Felicia Parise displayed.

Morphos: Where the manipulation of Will mutates ones body either wholly or partially in any form the user desires.

Elementum: Where the manipulation of Will allows you to control or become an element, people who master their elements are simply called "Elementals"

Deus: Where the manipulation of Will allows you to produce and control an aura that operates along whatever medium set forth. If no medium is produced the aura has been known to hover around the owner and act as a shield or is able to be constructed into objects made of this aura, such as a dagger made of nothing but this aura.

Partum Where the Manipulation of Will allows you to imbue certain objects with the power of your will, such as the book you are reading now.
