Easy Way Out

Giving up is easy,
When you have nothing to give.
Selling out is easy,
When you don’t have a price to live.
Suicide is easy,
When you no longer can survive.
Giving up is easy,
When you just want to die.

But, life is so complicated.
You can’t always take the easy way out.
How can you learn anything?
When you’re searching for the easy way out.
Now go and cry like a baby,
Like I did.
You will never find the easy, easy way out.

Getting wasted is easy,
If your demons are your only friends.
Cutting your wrist is easy,
But, do you know the message that sends?
Killing your friends is easy,
Unless your parents put locks on the gun case.
Stabbing backs is easy,
Just shake their hand and smile to their face.

“But doing drugs is ******* awesome.”
Why the hell would you want the easy way out?
So, go out and shoot your dealer,
Because the jerk sold you the easy way out.
Smash some s**t, and write about your struggle.
A less self-destructive easy way out.
Just make your parent don’t think you hate them.
Like mine do.
Trying to find that easy way out.

Hating god is easy.
If you don’t know what your missing out.
Punk rock is easy.
Just make sure you know what they’re singing about.
Kicking your dog is easy.
When you can’t feel that poor bastards pain.
Yeah, suicide is so ******* easy.
Just make sure the bullet goes straight through your brain.

Running away is easy.
Just remember you’re ruining you mother’s life.
Having sex is easy,
Just don’t end up like the guy from Three Dog Night.
Giving up is easy,
When you don’t have a price to live.
Selling out is easy.
When you have nothing to give.

When your depressed,
Don’t kill yourself.
Don’t shoot up,
Or kill somebody else.
Cause razor wire,
Isn’t an easy way out.
