Mitsu hovered by Lila with an evil grin as she laid her hands on the chemistry table. The teacher was in front of her conducting directions on what chemicals to mix with others. Mitsu reached over to poke Lila, her finger went through her. Mitsu grunted and put her hands on her cheeks. She'd have to find another way to get back at Lila for being with Saru. She knew it most likely wasn't Lilas fault, but she couldn't help it she loved Saru, she could care less about Lila. The teacher finally ended her demonstration as Lila teamed up with Saru for her partner. Lila slid goggles onto Sarus head. Mitsu laughed. He looked stupid in her mind. Lila thought he looked cute. Saru reached down around Lilas neck to pick her goggles up and put them on for her, but before he could Mitsu acted. She wasn't about to allow any part of her body to have protection over what she was going to do. She hastily mixed the wrong chemicals together as they began to bubble. If only there was a Hydrogen tank here, thought Mitsu. Lila turned to the now bubbling chemicals as she began to add one after another trying to stop the reaction. She wasn't even taking time to read what each one was. Not paying attention she added a highly flammable one causing the entire tube to explode sending glass shattering in all direction. Saru jumped on Lila pulling her to the floor with him as the glass shot over them. What's Lila thinking? Thought Saru. Chemicals leaked over the side of the table dripping onto Sarus arm. He griped his arm unable to move as he muttered in pain. "NO!!!" screamed Mitsu. A loud hiss echoed through out the room as everyone froze and noticed what was going on. Without thinking Mitsu flipped the table over as the chemicals were flung off onto other students who screamed in pain as it burned into their flesh. The teacher jumped up from her desk stomping over to Lila and Saru. She looked down at them and said sternly "Oh, what do we have here? Two love-birds who can't pay attention in class? I'll deal with you two later." With that she left and called in the school nurse. Saru sat up rubbing his arm where the chemical had burned him. He hadn't been burned as bad as some, but it still stung. That's when he noticed a cut on Lilas cheek. "Lila..." He said reaching his hand out and touching the cut. "I didn't do it Saru you have to believe me! You..." He cut her of, he didn't believe her, but he didn't wanna hear it. "I believe you." He lied. She nodded "Good." She responded. Saru leaned in and licked the blood off the side of Lilas cheek, as he sat back and smiled at her. Lila blushed and looked down at her hands. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Mitsu screamed grabbing her head as she fell to the floor. You're such a bad haunter! she cursed herself as she listened to the echoing hiss all around her. Everyone in the room was silent, they all could tell something wasn't quite right. If only Saru could realize it too. Though it wasn't exactly as if she wanted to be noticed not quite yet. She wanted to see what he'd really do. The school nurse came running in as she looked around the class room wide eyed. "Oh dear..." She whispered taking in the mess around her. Saru and Lila looked up at her as Mitsu sat down in the middle of the chemicals with a smile. She may have not got what she wanted, but she did feel accomplished at least. The nurse started examining the students around the room as Lila stood up unscathed, and pulled Saru up with her. She looked at his arm rubbing it lightly. He jumped away with a start. I licked her! He thought. What am I doing!? He slowly backed away from her walking through Mitsu. The nurse grabbed him from behind and looked at his arm. "This one should be fine, just a minor burn." She said smacking his arm. "ow.." grunted Saru as he backed away from her back to Lila. Mitsu sat up looking at the clock as she floated back into the air. RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG The bell sounded as everyone that had been burned soon forgot about their pain and dashed out the door. It was Friday and school was over, no need to wait around to get a few burns examined. Saru walked out the door Lila following behind as the teacher yelled after them, "We'll talk about this on Monday!" Saru and Lila let out a sigh together as he gathered his stuff from his locker and took off into the rain. Lila ran behind him opening an umbrella as she stood close to him so he'd stay dry. "I'm coming home with you today, remember?" She asked innocently. "Uhh, yeah right." He said continuing to walk with his hands in his pocket. She smiled over at him; holding the umbrella steady. Mitsu floated over top of them on her back as she kicked as if swimming. Well tonight will be hell. She thought, hopefully not to much hell. She rolled over on her stomach as she continued following them back to his house. I'm sure I can keep things under control, I better be able to. Mitsu was determined for nothing to get out of hand. Lila put the umbrella up as they stepped inside Sarus house. Lila took in the scent as she laid the umbrella against a wall and followed Saru to his bedroom. She sat down on his bed beside him. He picked up the stuffed dog stroking it. "What's that?" She asked him. "A gift from Mitsu." He replied. Mitsu nodded proud of him for telling her, when her nod was froze half way down. Lila grabbed the dog and threw it against the wall. It thunked against the wall as the beads rattled against the cotton inside. Mitsu watched her childhood memories and precious gift hit the floor. She ran to it and laid down beside it as she stroked it and watched Saru eye it emotionlessly as Lila put a hand on his cheek turning his face to meet her own.
