"Lupine huh?!" Axl wiped some blood from his lips,"ill tell you that was a dirty shot there girly."
He held his arm to the air and his sword formed.
Lupine stood before him, a stunning demon of water blue hued skin and hair dressed in a light amount of clothing for the winter area.
"i know," she said froming a trident from the snow, " but i really dont care deary, youll only be alive for a FEW MORE MOMENTS!"
She lunged at him but was quickly met by a large fireball in her side, sending her sprawling across the snow. She slowly got back up.
"Tch stay outa this. Fricken hoar of the demon world." Lupine spat.
Those words stung badly into Gekkou's soul, she thought she would cry.
Then everything happened so fast that Gekkou almost wasn't able to see it. In a flash of snow and sparks Axl had moved from his spot and had the Demon fighting for her life in seconds.
"DONT you EVER call her that!," he locked his blade on her trident pushing it against her throat," You have no idea what it would be like, to live in fear of what the next demon you see is going to do to get at you!"
With his sentence finished Axl kicked the Lupine into the cliffside.
"Gekkou is a strong girl, who has lived to this day protecting her pride and living with dignity yet still living in fear, the only hoar of the demon world i see here is you lupine."
Lupine crawled out of the cliffside and pointed her trident at him.
"Three headed serpent," She hissed out in rage," how dare you call me a hoar!"
out of each of the tridents tips sprang a snake as large as a tree made completly of water.
She swiped her trident at Axl sending them at him. He stood his ground until they were within feet of him.
"Retsu Kiba," he swung his blade peircing all the serpents with ice shards and freezing them. they shattered as they hit the ground around him sendind shards and flakes of ice flying around him. He then held his sword at head level and pointed it at Lupine.
"Retsu Arashi," The shards and flakes of ice circled his blade," Cold Storm"
With that the shards launched from his blade in the blink of an eye and ran Lupine through several times. when it was over only a ice statue of Lupine remained.
Axl dismissed his sword and with it the statue shattered. He walked over to Gekkou and hugged her softly.
"don't worry, what she said is not true about you."
Gekkou stood there like a statue at first, but unable to hold the tears back anylonger, buried her face in Axls chest and cried.
He walked her slowly back to his cave and prepared to leave.
