Beep! Beep! Beep!
Sophie groaned as she hit the top of her alarm clock, simultaneously shutting it off and sending it tumbling to the floor before rolling over and pulling the covers over her head to attempt going back to sleep. Surely she didn’t have to be up so early on a Saturday? The sound of her younger brothers bounding past her bedroom and down the stairs reminded her that it was in fact Monday, and she had to go to school today. Groaning again, Sophie sat up and rubbed last night’s make up from her eyes, cursing herself for staying out so late the night before and drinking so much; her head was killing. After eventually rolling out of bed Shaina padded across her bedroom into her en suite bathroom – one of the perks of having a rich step dad – and took a quick shower before putting on her uniform. It consisted of a plaid skirt, white shirt, tie and blazer, put in place to make everyone the same. Sophie didn’t want to be the same as everyone else, which is why she rolled up the waist of the skirt to make it shorter so it barely covered half of her thigh. The shirt she wore was fitted and clung to her tightly while her tie was basically a mess. Finally Sophie substituted the blazer for a black leather jacket which she was bound to be told off for, but she simply didn’t care. Sophie pulled on a pair of black boots, slung her backpack over her shoulder, and then left the house to climb into her black ’67 Chevy impala which she drove to school.
After her mom remarried, Sophie had been enrolled in a private high school in the area. She had only been fifteen at the time, and it was only a few years after her dad had died so she was not particularly happy, causing her to become a pretty rebellious teenager, hanging out in the ‘wrong crowds’, smoking and drinking while neglecting her school work. The majority of students at her school were rich ‘goody two shoes’ preppy little shits whom she pretty much hated, so she didn’t have any friends; not that it bothered her much, her friends from the local public high school were much more like her. As usual Sophie was late, and had to rush to her first class, Biology, which had already started. As soon as she entered the classroom she was getting wrong, first for being late, second for her jacket, and third for completely ignoring the teacher and taking her seat. After a moment, Miss Reed stopped complaining and went back to teaching her lesson, leaving Sophie to turn to her lab partner, who at that moment looked like he hated her, and give him a sarcastic grin before dropping her head on the table, waiting for class to end.
((I would like it if you could PM me to continue. I'm kindof going for a good boy/rebellious girl type of thing, but if you have a different idea go for it!))
