I stand and I watched all the couples walk by
Happy buying their Christmas gifts together
But I can't take it.
the watching, the looking.
blending into a world controlled in 2's.
and I am a one.
A singular.
I watch the couples walk past, holding hands.
Embracing.
All on their way to go buy Christmas gifts, being
merry.
Walking slowly,
Trying to picture someone standing beside me.
But I cannot
I am the opposite of merry.
half empty inside
I ache to have you near me
To feel your breath
on the nape of my neck
whispering how much you need me
need this!
This feeling of ecstasy
It took away all the fear and pain
But, you too are gone.
For good and so I too, am alone
