Section 1: The Basics

1a. What is your character's full name? Shinjimi Shoga

1b. Was it their parents that named them that? If not, who? yes, tho he ended up changing a few kanji

1c.Is there a special meaning behind the name? no

2a. How old are they now? he's in his mid twenties

2b. When were they born? he doesn't remember (and neither can I sweatdrop )

2c.Where were they born? in a rural village

3a. What's their race? Human, vampire, furry? Hybrid of some sort? he's human

4a. Where do they stand on the social pyramid? (e.i.: Royalty, middle class, living in poverty, etc.) he's a monk, so where do they fall under?

Section 2: Lifestyle

1a. Do they have a/n job/occupation? What is it? Shoga's a wandering monk

1b. What motivates them to keep doing this job? he enjoys the travel

1c. What job would they rather have? he likes where he's at.

2a. What are their religious views? he's mainly a Buddhist, but he finds that knowing a lot of others gives one a more worldly outlook

3a. What have they accomplished? When? quite a bit of little things. not really much but to the people, it was much more

4a. Are they apart of any organizations? supposedly, but I don't think they even remember him XP

5a. What do they do in their free time? sleep, play shogi (he sucks at it!), help people with their problems (sometimes not even realizing it), and sing odd little songs

Section 3: Psychology

1a. Describe their basic personality. Shoga is one you'd feel comfortable talking to even if he caught you butt naked. his travels have made him very knowledgeable even if that knowledge seems useless. he's mellow and easy to be around and always has a smile. however, he is anything but a pushover.

2a. What part of their personality really stands out? If any part? his useless knowledge actually has a point

3a. How do they view life? Are they an optimist? Pessimist? Realist? Idealist? a bit of both realist and idealist.

4a. When it comes to making a tough decision, do they rely on thought or feeling? Faith or fact? Shoga's inner workings are a bit complicated. he'll go with feeling and use thought to plan actions around it

5a. Do they have a sense of humor? yes. yes he does!

6a. What motivates them to keep moving? probably the fact that if he were to stop, something somewhere would need him and he would have failed

7a. What do they desire from life? to finally fully understand it

8a. What are they afraid of? of a repeat of his past

9a. Are they superstitious about anything? a little. knowing several religions he at least has to act like he is.

10a. What secrets do they keep, if any? there's actually a demon living in his body.

10b. How well are these secrets kept? pretty well

Section 3: Mental Abilities

1a. What can/cannot they do mentally? (e.i. IQ, certain school subjects, mental/emotional health). Shoga is abysmal at strategy games. however he can converse with the spirit world easily. and somehow manages to pinpoint a person's problem without them saying it

1b. What are they strongest at? avoiding conflict.

1c. What are they weakest at? strategies

2a. What do they like to do? read, nap in trees, and talk to the thing inside

3a. What do they hate to do? fight. but he's damn good at it if he has to.

4a. Were they educated? yes

4b. If so, did they enjoy it? he found it boring

4c. For how long? started when he was about 7 and ended about 16 or 18

Section 4: History

1a. Did they have a good childhood? A bad one? it wasn't bad, just dull

1b. What do they remember the most about it? being made fun of just because he was a fast learner but moved at a slow pace

2a. What were/are their teen years like? irritating (this was when the demon came in)

3a. What have they had to struggle to accomplish? housing two people in one body

4a. What do they regret the most, if anything? Shoga has none.

5a. How did they end up on their current path? Was it their choice? not really his choice but he was chosen by other monks, because he had the gift or whatever

6a. Did anything serious happen that changed them forever? the event that led to his possession. the entire shrine was wiped out.

Section 5: Family

1a. Who are their parents? unknown

1b. What are their parents' races? they were human

1c. Are they still alive? probably

2a. Do/did they have any siblings? How many? he did have a little sister but she died in a flood

2b. Are they still alive? no

3a. Where did the family originate? the same village he was born in

3b. How has it changed from the last generation to the current? it has slowly begun to die off

Section 6: Relationships

1a. What do other people think of them? a weird monk that is oddly easy to speak to

2a. What is their sexual orientation? straight, but he can pretend otherwise if he has to

3a. Are they involved with anyone romantically? Who? no, unless you count his inner demon, but then it's one sided (demon ->Shoga)

3b. What do they like/love about this person? What do they dislike/hate? Shoga likes the fact that he isn't trying to be eaten, but at the same time hates the fact that he's a possessed monk

4a. Do they have a best friend? Who? his inner demon would count I suppose.

4b. Why are they best friends? kinda hard not to be when the other knows everything (literally) about you. he's also helpful sometimes


4b. Any other friends? nope

5a. Do they hate anyone? Does anyone hate them? Who? he's a monk so pretty much everyone reveres him. but there are always those who just hate priests

Section 7: Extra

1a. Is there anything else important that you have to share about this character? Shoga has nicknamed the demon Oni-chan. it's a play on words from "onii-chan" or older brother, and "oni" or demon. and technically demons are usually much older than humans... yeah. his real name is Kikokuru by the way, and he's a crow demon (Tengu)
