Philosophy and Religion are two things that are very important to me. They create a balance and stability; faith on one end and intellect on the other. I'm not one of those Thoreau-ians who love basking in nature, sucking all the marrow out of life and admiring the little things like dust. And I'm surely not one of those crazy crucifix wearing Christians whose sole goal in life is to own Google maps in order to go door-to-door spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
No, you see that's why it's a balance, and reason why I find Philosophy and Religion so important. You need faith to reassure your intellect that life is more than just of the flesh, and you need your intellect to reason with your faith that not everything out there is evil.
So maybe go look at nature and try to perceive it in a different perception or visit your nearest church, temple, synagogue what have you. You may find a lot of other people way off balance, but who cares it's your own life your not going to die in any other skin than your own.

Ideally we live in a world with people that only tell one side, I'm here to exploit the other.
