V-Day
Valentine's Day
A day for showing love
Love for a friend
A family member
A lover
Some give simple cards
Others chocolates and flowers
Others take there loved ones out to dinner
At an expensive restaurant
Other still do all this and more
For me though
Because we live too far apart to get together
And the of expense to send cards, chocolate and flowers
To all my loved ones would be too great
I simply write this poem for all of you
I think about you all everyday
But this day is different
On this day I wonder if you have someone special
To spend this loved filled day with
And I worry more then usual that you're happy
So this is what my poem is to you
I message saying that there is someone out there
Who cares and worries about you
And loves you in someway
So smile and laugh
And keep this poem in mind
For when you next feel lonely
Come back here and read it again
And you'll remember that you aren't so alone after all
