I must admit that Louie Armstrong was right reffering to the night as dark and sacred. What other time would one who wishes no more than a peaceful, quiet existence prevail. I sit and I hear not a sound of a child playing or neighbor working on his car, and I think, "Good riddance, leave the night to those who require the peace to prevent the onslaught, the onslaught of anger that comes from being born in a small town that you don't like and knowing that there is a very real possibility that you will never escape."
Of course the rest of the song was pure rubbish. The only roses I see are wilted and the trees have lost all of there green. The sky is dark and cloudy, all is well with the weather and nature, (down with the bright blasted days).
And finally, as a man once said, "Lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself". Well I have yet to lose my friends, but my sanity, confidence, and most feelings of self worth were lost long ago. Maybe I have lost myself?

A Tattered Leather Bound Journal With a Bear Claw Symbol on The Front Cover
As you read through this ancient tome, you realize that it is nothing more than the ravings of a lunatic. The author writes of these weird concepts of work, school, and life. Obviously he was deranged, what society would make this horrid little mind?
