As we come upon the girl you see a pretty face
a cute up turned nose
a smile upon her face her eyes a bright blue
the image begins to shimmer
it's her reflection in the water
She lets her long slender fingers touch the water and move it around.
she looks up to the sky
another version of her.
her eyes clouded over
her smile gone
the tears are there streaming down her face
as there are two sides to a coin.
theirs two sides to the girl
inside she seems to be trapped in never ending pain
yet outside is a hopeful person awaiting the future.
when she's with others her outside show
but when alone they switch
a dark depressing girl on the outside.
no one recognizes her
no one remembers her
the truth has been told
she is just a normal girl
with normal fears.
scared of her life passing her by
leaving nothing behind to show she existed.
