Broken Doll



So lost in thought am I

That I don't see him before me

I think about him so much

Yet I don't see him in front of me

And then when I try to see him

I can't

Because I'm to late

He's already gone

Damn these tears

I shouldn't cry anymore

Not over him

It was might fault he's gone

And it's my fault he'll stay gone

I won't run after him anymore

Why should I

All I did was hurt him

I'll smile as I say good bye

And as I wave turning away

I'll whisper my love

So he won't hear it

And leave

I won't call

I won't even think of him

It'll be the end

That smile will fade

My tears will fall

But slowly

So slowly I'll forget

And move on

What else can I do

It's a lost cause to try anymore

So I put all your memories away

Never to be seen again

As I cried late into this night

I smile one last time

The one that will never leave my lips now

Because I'm nothing more

Then a broken doll
