After getting changed and washed up, Rose decided she was hungry. Tired as all hell... but hungry. So she left her room, with Niko in tow, and headed to the galley. Being the only one there at the time, she proceeded to make a cup of coffee. She sat down at the large table as she waited for the pot to brew.

After a few minutes of trying to convince herself that she was not awake yet, Rose decided she needed to just get a cup and get over it. She started opening the cupboards looking for mugs. For, while the coffee was on the counter next to the pot, mugs were somewhere in the cupboards.

Taran walked into the galley and almost laughed to find Rose almost exactly where he had been the previous night when the power had gone off, kneeling on a counter to get a look in the cupboards above.

"Looking for something particular?" asked Taran, hoping not to frighten her.

It didn't work- Rose banged her head on the cupboard when she heard his voice.

"Ow!" she said, rubbing her temple. "Ya. I was looking for a coffee mug." she said irritably.

Taran walked around her, to a cupboard door to her left, and opened it. He took out two mugs, one in each hand. Rose groaned.

"Oh, don't worry. I found these last night while rummaging around. It's no problem." he said, as he set the cups down by the coffee pot and offered both hands up to Rose for help down.

But Rose hadn't groaned because she hadn't yet found the coffee cups. She groaned because him grabbing both cups - and offering her up both his hands for help down- meant that his injuries to his arm and wrist were healed. blue had done that without her, too. But she accepted Taran's help down, and he served her some coffee. She didn't feel like talking, but Taran was talking a mile a minute, and didn't seem to mind that it was mostly him talking, and her only making agreeable noises. Eventually, with the coffee and the good company, Rose's bad mood wore out, and she actually smiled.
