This is the first story intro that I've put in, it's called wolf spirits; Blood dripped down from it’s body. Kia stood, staring. She wanted to run and help it but her legs wouldn’t move. Suddenly it’s amber eyes opened, staring, not at her, but through her. Into her soul.
She woke screaming. She felt as though she could scream until the house shook. Eventually she calmed herself down and realised it was a dream. The same dream she’d had earlier that night. She looked over at the clock, it’s fluorescent light illuminating the face. “12:15, mum and dad won’t be back yet.” She sat it the darkness, thinking, until she decided to prove to herself it was just a dream. After kicking back the covers she jumped out of bed, ran downstairs and out the front door. She had fallen asleep in her clothes but her feet became scraped and bruised.
The full moon hung in the sky. A mist had formed and gave an eerie image to her surroundings. She sprinted through the forest. Following a path she knew led her to the only clearing in the area. She slowed slightly as she neared the area and, as she pushed through the trees, gasped. Lying, battered and torn in a pool of red moonlight, was a pure white wolf. Blood dripped from numerous wounds all over it’s body. Kia stood, staring. She wanted to run over and help it but her legs locked. Suddenly it’s amber eyes opened, staring, not at her, but through her. Into her soul. It then tilted it’s head back and howled. A long mournful howl, which no human could ever dream of matching. This sound was like nothing in movies. This was more powerful and pure and felt as though it could be carried around the world before the wolf ran out of breath. This sound spurred Kia’s body into action and she ran across the clearing. As soon as she approached, the wolf’s howl stopped and it’s head fell forward, the eyes closing...
