As the moon goes up high, I watch the sky, And watch as the moon stars and everyone, For they shall do a dance quite soon, And I happily shall watch.
The moon does a tango, She dances with the flamango, The stars go a square dancin', Then skip around and do some prancin'.
The trees practice ballet, Always do it a special way, And the bats swoop to and fro, They'll always know where to go.
I watch this moonlit dance, And wonder if I'll get the chance, To dance with the moon and stars, I wonder if I'll make it far.
For I travel night and day, In search of my own lit way, To find myself a piece of mind, So I'll search until I find, That wonderful golden treasure.
