Imagine yourself Lying in a meadow The sun is setting Casting a shadow
On either side of you A few people lay Those special few That you trust and obey
You have no worries or fears And in your lap an animal sleeps In your arms it fears nothing All of the good dreams it keeps
You lay there happy with others In the center of it all Your dream is in a meadow Not at the mall
Though this might never happen Treasure it in your heart Keep a dream forever And your world won’t fall apart
Now imagine a shore Down by a lake The thoughts on your mind Are making you shake
You sit there alone No one else is there It’s not that you think That no one else will give a care
You are always with someone You never get alone time Is this want of yours, to be alone, A serious, huge crime?
So you sit there thinking With thoughts on your mind Good ones and bad ones Certain memories you find
Though this may never happen Treasure it in your heart Keep a dream forever And your world won’t fall apart
