Chapter 4
The Kiss and Hailey's Gig
I woke up that morning feeling on top of the world, anything was possible. I woke up and I layed there till Tray woke up. He got up and stretched like every morning with a loud groan. I got up even thought I didn't want to. As I got up Tray was standing over me waiting for his good morning hug. I gave him his hug. As I turned to walk away he grabbed me on the shoulder. As I turned around he put his warm hand on my neck and softly placed the other on my cheek. The last thing I remember was his lips touching mine. It seemed farever till we broke apart. I felt different after that, I didn't even notice we werent in school today, we were basicly skipping. After that I gave him another hug as a single tear ran down my cheek. That day I did nothing but sit on the couch with Tray. I was surprised to loved by someone other than my relatives. That day me and Tray found a new hobby we both liked. Drawing. We sat down and drew on the couch. I swear we never left that couch all day. When it 10:30 we went to bed. I woke up the next morning ready to go to school unlike every other day. When we got to school I was walking down the hallway with Tray, and he took my hand like it was no problem. Mimi saw it and I thought her and I were cool but no i guess not she got all mad and mase "hmph" noise and ran off. Tray and I laughed. I finaly was happier than her. But Tray was so kind to me and I couldn't wait to return the favor. I couldn't wait till the upcoming spring dance for the Junior High. I was going to make the best date ever. I was thinking all this on my way to science. Walking into science i herd a big "uhhhh" noise. Was it that amazing that I had a boyfriend. Hailey ran up to me.
"Oh my ******** god," was the first words out of her mouth. "He is yours now."
"He is not my pet!" I said.
"Oh you know what I mean," she said.
The rest of the day went smooth. No one asked what i was doing with Tray. On the walk home we ran into Chris. He made a funny hallow load "grrrrrr" noise, I laughed. When I got home, as soon as I walked in the door the phone rang. It was Hailey.
"Hello," I said.
"Oh my ******** god, I got the gig at our school spring dance two weeks from now," she said with excitment.
"Coll well I got to go, I am going to watch a movie with Tray," I lied.
"Ooooo you go girl," she said real funny.
When I got off the phone I went over to Tray and kissed him on the cheek and then layed down right beside him on the couch.
I never knew how much someone could love some one until I met Tray.
