So much always happens when I go to cons. My first year at SakuraCon, back in 2004, oh was that fun... I learned the horrors of otaku who didn't bathe. I learned exactly why males were hitting on me so much at SakCon 04.
Fanime... I met all the Gaians back in 2005, had my first real "out of state" experience. True, SakCon is in Seattle and thus out of state, but California in general is so much more different than Washington is compared to Oregon in general.

But... this SakuraCon... along with last Fanime 2006, I am never going to forget.
Fanime had its time. Has its own memories, which I know I've written about before. But this SakuraCon............ never ever can forget.
It's mostly a whirlwind of action, but long story short, Chaos was able to come to SakuraCon this year due to some friends of his driving up from Sacramento. That alone would make it memorable, but I also had multiple outfits to wear just to show off.
Oh the reaction I got from my "ninja" outfit from Chaos... hehe... I'm never going to forget that for as long as I live. Just that mix of shock and awe...
But while I missed the concert with LiN clover and m.o.v.e., I was ok with that. I got to spend time with Chaos on a level I never have done since we first hooked up last year. Actually getting dressed and going on a real -date-... oh that was so much fun. heart And wow does Chaos look amazing in a black suit...
Con-wise, swag and panels up the wazoo, of course.
Swag, I went nuts on mangas this year, ones I didn't have yet, but that's ok! Now I'm all caught up and I'm happy. ^^ Chaos bought a pair of tonfas, and I had so much fun playing with them that I got a set of my own as well. Sooooo awesome. heart He says I should learn how to use them.
Gaia panel that I hosted (and dragged SevenTen up to help me with) went well also. Two hours of nothing but Gaia, though I felt really bad about this one user whose little sister got caught in the COPPA age verification stuff to the point that she was yelling at us. Mrowr... I don't like getting yelled at about something I had no control over. =/ Oh well.
I think some users got pictures of me and SevenTen holding the poster, while others got one of me hugging a Mokona plushie. I wonder if anyone will let me have them? <3
Either way, it was a success, and aside from being a bit footsore still because of my boots, I'd say it was successful. ^_^
And for those trying to get into my album, you have to know the secret password. >.>;
