For Time Flows By
A rose for those that have hope a
Flower for some or most that hurt.
Smiles and giggles for all the good things seen
A hug for all those who are staying in between.
Kiss on the cheek so that you’ll still be
That nice great, good, person who still sees.
Tears for people who slowly lose their own lives
And my heart gives to people that do survive
My shadow is small but a body so large.
With its own way that it makes a barge.
Just so many things that a smile does
But at its end it never stays with us.
One more frown that converts to a smile
Or just one last heart that choose to say awhile.
I don’t see so much as some other people do
But instead all I see is a smile twor’ds a few.
A fake smile to show that they’re still just upset.
Or even a handshake you will so regret.
I will smile when I have and know I need too
But will you return it or turn around again
I smile as you sorta just a little smile back.
Hearst start to drift as minds come close
To a place where everything is so
Remote. No more smiles for me but just as
Instead for you a smile grand wanted too.
Don’t lie face show sit all, I know its true
