...So, after a year and so I've returned to Gaia. Now that I have a powerful laptop to keep up with my gamer needs, Gaia definitely returns to my list of frequently visited sites. But let me talk about my adventures today...
That old-as-a-fart year old quest in the Old Aqueduct concerning the Biochips? I've finally finished it thanks to the assistance of Hot K-pop girl and more! Phew! I've never thought of finishing that quest ever! But then again, if it wasn't for that tip about looting from Prarie-Pups that bear green picture frames, then I wouldn't have finished it.
That's the happy part. And now, here's the part where I screw up.
Since I'm all done with my quests, I decided to give the Dead Man's Shadow a shot since everyone's all the rage about it. So, to Bill's Ranch I go.
Now that I'm back to Gaia and zOMG!, I never remembered that the Adrenaline ring isn't something you fire or cast on somebody. It's a Power-up of some kind-- the type where you just equip it and it does its self-serving magic... which I'm not used to doing.
I was immediately teamed up with veterans, especially Sheer Luck Holmes. Now, that woman-- I say, THAT woman.
The first screw up was to barge in headfirst to a cavern full of vampires. I was worried because everyone's Health and Energy bars were depleting and I was just there being stagnant and thinking that my net's lagging everywhere. Thus, I discovered that I was supposed to wait for Sheer's signal.
I Revived myself and tried to impress her by dragging the vampire away from her. Doing well in the whole cavern because I was getting the gist of the game.
...Anyway, I'm SO spooked out by all the s**t I've seen in the area. And oh... DAT MUSIC.
Then came the second screw-up. I misunderstood her directions AGAIN. Sheer's directions was to use Meat for the second round because... well, WEREWOLVES and VAMPIRES ALL IN ONE CAVE HOLY s**t I DIDN'T BRING MEAT!!!
Well, I died instantly and tried to Revive but I was pulled back to the Null Chamber instead...
...And logged out in shame...
...And tried to go back and apologize...
...But decided not to...
...Because I'm really giving trouble and they're probably far ahead and making better progress anyway...
...Ehehe...
...I'll probably hibernate from Gaia...
...
Not sure if I should press the Friends button after what happened between Sheer and me...
...I'll just... remember her sweet, sweet name then...
And upgrade Meat to CL 10.0!
And read up on Dead Man's Shadow!
