Chatterbox Sub-Forum Vice Captain Information
Vice Captain of the Chatterbox sub-forum consists of the following responsibilities and guidelines:
1. Every topic that is made must be monitored more than once.
2. If a thread is made, and it does not pertain to your sub-forum, you must move it to the correct sub-forum. (The move topic button is on the bottom of the first page of a topic, and is an arrow)
3. If you move a topic to another sub-forum, you MUST tell the poster which you've moved it to, providing a hyperlink is best.
4. You must not be rude to anyone in the guild. If there's an argument, do not engage, warn all who are participating in it first, and if they continue, tell me. Do not get involved, as it will lead to you losing your position if you choose to accept it, plus a ban from the guild.
5. You must be literate, or at least semi-literate. Spell check is a must.
6. You must know all of your sub-forum's rules and such. (Don't worry, there aren't that many!)
As a vice captain, a guild member is able to send you a message with a report inside. You must have your account settings set to be able to receive messages from anyone at all times. How you will be required to respond and deal with reports is listed below.
1. Look at the report by, following the link to where the problem happened.
2. You MUST reply to any report, whether it deals with your sub-forum or not. A reply should consist of a very brief message, an example is "Thank you for submitting a report. It is in the process of being taken care of. Please do not send any further messages concerning the matter. Thank you"
3. If a user submits more than one report, aka spamming you with it, tell me and do not reply to any of them. (Sometimes PM'S double send, it's a glitch, so that is fine, just look at the times, and if they're the same minute/a minute more, just delete one and reply as normal.) But, if it is spam, you MUST forward me the message and you mustn't reply.
4. When dealing with a report, after looking at it, the offender(s), send them a message warning them. An example is "In the topic ________ in the __________ sub-forum, you have been seen doing ________. It is against the Rules(hyperlink to the sub-forum's rules titled as 'Here') This is a warning, and if you continue to disobey guild rules, you will be banned from the guild. Please reply that you understand, and if you have further questions on the warming, please feel free to ask." If they continue to break rules, then private message them telling them they've been banned from the guild for breaking rules, and either go to 'Members' panel, and click ban, or ask me to do it in a private message, as long as it gets done.
5. If you receive a guild report that is out of your hands, or something that is a post report that is a TOS rule broken, please just click 'Report post' and follow the report. If it is just a bigger than your sub-forum rule break, and concerns the whole guild, forward me the report message and I'll take care of it.
Please ask me if you have any further questions. Also, please save this message for reference if you choose to accept the position.
