ok, i had just become a vampire...you want to know more...fine-if you wish.
as we walked out in the night together, he showed my the ropes of being a vampire. when to stop drinking, how to curb my thirst around other humans and how to control my new-born powers and senses. he also introduced me to his vampire fellows or his coven. there were 5 more of them. there was Maharet, Mael, Khayman, Pandora and Marius. they were all known as the ancient ones. the oldest of vampires. one evening, we were walking in a forest, and a question i had been burning to ask him slipped out. "why did you choose to give the dark gift to me?" i asked him quietly. "i do not know. i guess, i was incensed by you. you not running when you saw a monster standing over your sisters lifeless body. you not screaming, but instead staring. amazed. i was stunned also by your beauty." he replied simply. "beauty?!" i scoffed,"i was nowhere near beautiful as a human. i remember envying the rich, whole stunning girls that would pass through our small village. not a backwards glance at me and my sister. always with their noses up and their chests out. i was nothing compared to them." "you do not understand me. your beauty inside. your whole heart was breaking as you looked at me. i saw your eyes widen but not with fear, with amazement. and i heard your heart hammer against your chest but again not with fear, with adrenalin. as though you hoped me to take your life from you aswell. as though you would not fight but walk towards me. it took me by surprise, and i found that i could not kill you. even if i wanted to." he explained. "what is your story, armand? tell me." i asked determined. he looked up at me and sighed. "very well," he agreed.
next time i will go on...Armands story is not so long as you would think... (note: my version of armands story is different from anne rice's and will only take up the next journal entry to write-so not a never-ending story!)
