Someones out there watching you.
The sky above her is grey. The wind that blows at her is ice cold. Headphones plugged into her ears, her eyes focus onto the footpath she walks upon. On her shoulders, lies the burden of her school bag. She faintly hears her friends talking and laughing onfront of her. Small droplets of rain begin to fall upon them. Her friends edge her to hurry underneath their umbrella. She simply shakes her head and keeps walking. As the rain begins to fall harder in larger amounts, her uniform is now drenched. Her socks and shoes are soaked, but she continues to shuffle her feet along the wet footpath. She stops and looks up at the sky. The water falls upon her face and in her eyes. She smiles and whispers, "I like walking in the rain...because nobody knows that your crying." She wipes the water from her eyes and looks around. She notices that everyone has run for cover besides her. Suddenly, she is covered from the rain. She no longer feels the sensation of the cold droplets. She looks up and sees an umbrella above her head. "What?" she mumbles as she looks to her left. She sees a guy in senior uniform smiling at her, holding the umbrella above her head. "You'll get sick if you continue to walk in the rain," he says he puts the umbrella over her. She notices that he is now getting wet as the umbrella is over her. "But...you?" she says, slowly taking out her headphones. He shakes his head and smiles, "Don't worry about me, your more important." She smiles at him and blushes, "Th-thank you..." she stutters. He takes her hand and puts it ontop of his hand thats holding the umbrella, and begins to walk next to her.
As their reach the trainstation, he shakes the umbrella free of the water droplets and closes it. She notices that he is now as drenched as her, "Your...drenched," she says as she touches his tie. He shoves the umbrella into his school bag and smiles at her, "Its okay," he replies as he takes her hand from his tie and holds it. Her eyes widen, "Huh?" she gasps as she feels his hands hold hers. "You may not know it, but I've been watching you lately," he says, staring into her eyes. She gives an awkward look, "Watching me?" she asks. She then remembers those days where she sees him walk right past her on the trainstations, or those days where he stands on the opposite side of the carriage. "Yes. I don't know why, but when I see you, my heart beats faster. I watch you talk with your friends, and sometimes i even smile when you smile," he explains. She smiles at him, but then notices her friends calling her. "I...I have to go, or I'll miss my train," slowly pulling her hands away from his. "Wait," he says as he holds her hands tightly and leans forward and kisses her on the lips. Her eyes widen in shock. He pulls away and smiles at her. "Uh...I...have t-to go," she says, trying to force the words out. She gives him a wave, but her face remains saddened. He smiles and waves, "I'll see you again. That I promise," he shouts as he watches her and her friends jump onto their train.
She sits next to the window with her friends. She hears her friends asking about the guy and how long that relationship has been going on. She smiles as she sees him standing outside the train and answers, "For quite sometime now..."
