And now to talk a little bit about the technology and environment that is in Broken Void. Some of you may already know, but the Earth had become a barren wasteland, and was uninhabitable. It was only thanks to The Plant (See first journal entry) that made it possible for human life to even survive long enough to develop and farm the land to begin with. With that taken care of I have provided a list of facts about the world:
-- The world still has different cultures no matter where you go, just like in real life.
-- Most of the world is still undeveloped and is a barren wasteland, similar to a desert.
-- For unknown reasons the temperature of the Earth is always at 87F.
-- Any "Old Earth" technology is broken, unnecessary, or considered an ancient artifact by the currents worlds people.
-- The current technology is similar to that found in most Final Fantasy games. I'm not a huge FF fan, but that's the best way I can put it.
-- As part of the Earth's new environment, there a many new and exotic animals. I'm not going to make a whole bunch up, but if you are feeling creative, send me a PM with a new animal and I'll add it to the Beast Book.
